Food was delicious and flavoursome. The waiter was impeccable and he really cared for the service in everything. Restaurant was clean and had nice decor.

The fish was served over a bed of sautéed vegetables and paired with roasted baby potatoes, both cooked with care and adding earthy depth without overpowering the dish. A drizzle of olive oil brought everything together with a clean finish.

I’ve visited the Funky Lounge twice now, and both times were a great. Their wings are a must-try – perfectly cooked and slathered in a delicious BBQ sauce. On my first visit, I opted for the classic ham and cheese toastie, which hit the spot, while my wife enjoyed a quesadilla. The second time around, we both dove headfirst into their chicken masala, and let me tell you, we were seriously impressed. The flavors were spot-on, and the portion size was perfect for a satisfying meal. While we didn’t try their burgers they looked great and were told they were amazing.
If you're looking for a place with a cool vibe, great food at fair prices, then Funky Lounge Cafe is the spot for you! I highly recommend checking it out.- Comida

Very nice breakfast / brunch restaurant. The full English breakfast was delicious. The beef with pickles dish was quite interesting. The pickles were quite sour but they went well together funnily. The English muffin was just a burger with fries. But it was quite nice and filling. We recommend this place.

When I go back to Portimao I'll be eating here EVERY single day as we tried other restaurants down the strip and they could NOT hold a candle to the Funky cafe.Nuno? The best Lasagne I've ever tasted. It's just around the corner from my hotel. Food exceptional, staff friendly, and attentive. We've been recommending to other guests in the hotel. Can't wait to have another meal in this fantastic restaurant.

This was our absolute favourite place to go during our visit to Portimao. The food is outstanding. The staff and service are wonderful. And the vibe is superb. If you’re looking for a genuinely friendly and hospitable place to eat, drink or relax, this is your very best option. Thank you to everyone here who treated us so well.

What a little hidden gem!! We’re staying next door at the Mirachoro. Nipped he last night for dinner and we was very impressed. My partner had the beer burrito I had the quesadilla, both were very good. Definitely recommend this place. We’ll be going back before we go home.

Had the most amazing time here food was amazing, staff are so welcoming & friendly. The feel of the place was relaxed and warm, going to miss it. Breakfast was fantastic and all the meals we had here, pricing was not expensive but well worth more, thank you making feel so welcoming. Xx

We visited 3/4 times over a course of a week and each time it was delicious packed full of flavour. Staff friendly and do not rush you to eat. Enjoyed breakfast, lunch and evening meals.

Tasty food and excellent service Stumbled across this place and I'm glad that I did. Nuno is very hospitable and helped make my meal Gluten Free. Nice relaxed atmosphere and fair prices. I had a very tasty lunch. They also serve booze too and are open late. I'll Defo be back
